Barracuda Bay slides

'Cuda Falls was a water slide complex in SplashTown at Darien Lake.

The slide complex opened in 1994 replacing an older set of water slides called Rainbow Mountain . In 1996 a bridge was added in the vicinity of Cuda Falls connecting the slide complex to rest of the water park. The slide complex has taken the popularity of the Barracuda Bay name since most of slides in that area are now gone with the exception of Floodgate Falls standing But not operating since 2008 and decaying. 'Cuda Falls was removed in 2014 after standing but not operating during the previous year.

The park claims that Ripcurl Racer has replaced 'Cuda Falls, but that wasn't the case.

The ride was made by Waterworld Industries and Fred Langford designed the attraction, Fred Langford also designed slides for White Water Atlanta, Cedar Point, Wet 'N' Wild Orlando, Dorney Park and West Edmonton Mall.
